Synthetic Turf Replacement At Veterans Park In East Northport Approved

EAST NORTHPORT, NY — The issuance of $1.4 million in bonds to replace the synthetic turf at Veterans Park in East Northport was approved by the Huntington Town Board at its March 14 meeting.

Councilman Eugene Cook was the lone dissenting vote in a decision that needed a super majority for approval. Huntington Supervisor Edmund Smyth, as well as council-members Joan Cergol, Dave Bennardo and Salvatore Ferro, all voted to approve the project.
