Hits of the 50s and 60s
Experience the sounds of Elvis, The Tokens, Dion and the Belmonts, Buddy Holly, and the Beatles Tuesday as The Vic Vincent Group Performs perform favorites from the 1950s and 60s at the Northport Library. Listen to the doo-wop harmonies of groups such as The Platters and Little Anthony & the Imperials, and enjoy the tunes of Frank Sinatra, Louis Prima, Neil Diamond, Hank Williams, and many more.
Huntington Zoning Board
The Town of Huntington Zoning Board meets Wednesday in Town Hall at 6 p.m. Agenda will be available online at huntingtonny.gov.
True Calling Workshop
Motivational life coach and creative entrepreneur Barbara Anerella presents a hands-on workshop designed to inspire participants with enthusiasm and optimism about new beginnings in their lives. She will explore how to let go of beliefs that limit true self-actualization and she will suggest new career possibilities and life
choices, as well as resources. 7 p.m. Wednesday @ Northport Library.
Season's Last Northport Community Band Concert
8 p.m. Thursday @ Village Park gazebo. This week's concert features:
- Guest Conductors - Bob Domencetti & Izzet Mergen
- The 1812 Overture, with two cannons!
- Forgotten Dreams ... and bubble blowing for the kids!
Just Dogs Gourmet Barkery in East Northport is holding a special dog adoption event on Wednesday in conjunction with the North Shore Animal League.
