Voter's Guide: Northport 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of Northport-East Northport schools will vote on the district's $166,810,381 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 2.15 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 2.10 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Four candidates are running for three open seats on the Northport-East Northport Board of Education. They are: incumbent David Stein, incumbent David Badanes, Victoria Buscareno and Thomas Loughran.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in your assigned election district.

- Election District 1: Residents who live south of the center line of Pulaski Road will vote at Fifth Avenue Elementary School.
- Election District 2: Residents who live north or the center line of Pulaski Road and south of the center line of Route 25A will vote at Dickinson Avenue School.
- Election District 3: Residents who live north of the center line of Route 25A will vote at William J. Brosnan School.
