Wall Street Jitters!

East Northport - An article in the Sunday edition of one of our daily newspapers with the headline "IT JUST SCARES ME" in reference to the recent stock market plunge, is very typical of mainstream media's constant barrage to create fear, uncertainty and doubt ("FUD factor") for the typically uninformed general public!

Fortunately, there are many other savvy and seasoned readers, including your's truly (I'm 83 years old) who have much more confidence in our economy to know that it is solid and the market historically rebounds from times of uncertainty.
Wouldn't it be nice, if like-minded media outlets would focus on the positive side of things instead of creating more chaos?
