  • Just like everyone else.... pizza and bagels. Also Polly-O cheeses and good Italian food. And raw Littlenecks fresh out of the Great South Bay too.
  • Good schools doctors and hospitals. And of course bagels whitefish salad pizza and good meat.
  • The ocean
  • I am in Saratoga. I MISS THE BEACH. I miss an ethnic deli. Up here, you have the supermarket deli, not the Italian deli, the Greek deli, the German deli, the Jewish deli...so boring up here!
  • Moved from East Northport to a small town about 30 miles N/E of Boston. Haven't been able to find good Chinese or real pizza. They are very big on roast beef/pizza shops here for some reason. No real delis around and the nearest 7 11 is about 10 miles away. A few months ago a bagel shop opened in town and people were going crazy. Definitely do not miss the traffic on Larkfield Rd.
  • I lived in Colorado fro 22 years. I missed the pizza, but having property taxes of less than $600 a year made any kind of homesickness disappear.
  • The beach, seafood and bakeries.
  • Absolutely nothing. Long Island, over the course of my lifetime, has deteriorated from a quiet, peaceful suburb/ rural community, to what we see today. The worlds worst drivers, land of NIMBY, self entitlement, and areas completely overrun with illegal aliens, rampant gangs and crime. Land of strip malls, and corrupt townships that more than overreach their bounds. And I haven’t even mentioned the property taxes....When I retire, and my children have graduated from their HS....Good bye
  • Family!
  • ... My friends
  • Rye bread, Italian bread, bagels
  • My friends.... Deli's/ the food
  • beach and pizza
  • Downtown northport, and all the gorgeous beaches on the island.
  • The big hair, the big attitudes, and the big egos.
  • Robke's Country Inn
  • Family. Besides that absolutely nothing.
  • I moved to Nashville Tn., & I miss everything about NY.
