NORTHPORT, NY — Willow, Eclipse, Marcus, and Sasha, all siblings born in rescue on Feb. 15, are the Northport Cat Rescue’s Kittens of the Week.

Willow and Eclipse are bonded sisters; adorable tuxedo kittens with big, sweet eyes, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

Marcus, with his little mustache, is very bonded to his sweet sister, Sasha.

"There is nothing better than a kitten born in rescue," Wild said. "From day one of their lives, they have been loved and handled by people who only want the best for them. These four have been raised around children, lots of other cats and even two dogs. They are fearless, fun, silly and affectionate. They love affection and are purring machines."

Marcus loves the feather wand, according to Wild.

"Often when our volunteers come to give them play time, he runs to the corner, grabs one with his mouth and brings it over to you," she said.

Eclipse and Willow love to observe and jump in the fun with all their furry pals, while Sasha is "just the cutest little munchkin," Wild said.

"After playtime, they curl back up in their habitats, cuddling and comforting each other, waiting for their forever families to come along and bring them home, so they never have to go into a cage again."

Willow and Eclipse need to stay together, as they are two peas in a pod, Wild said. Marcus and Sasha "would be lost with out each other," she added.

"Just when you think Marcus is the one taking care of Sasha, you turn around and Sasha is cleaning Marcus and letting him know all will be OK. If you are looking for a pair, these siblings are amazing."

They are currently all snuggled up with their bonded sibling at Petco Commack.

Willow and Eclipse, Marcus and Sasha are spayed or neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, and micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
