2011 John Glenn High School graduate John Marsicano is working with one of New York City’s top public relations firms this summer, The Morris+King Company.
Marsicano, who is seeking a degree in Strategic Communication and Mandarin, Chinese, from High Point University, is spending his second summer with the company, which represents companies and organizations including Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Where’s Waldo and SpinMedia.
John is well on his way to becoming one of the youngest PR tycoons in the industry, connecting and working with some of the nation's top media influencers. Marsicano credits his mentor, Andy Morris, for his success, thus far, stating "Andy has done everything and anything necessary to ensure I am getting the most out of every opportunity," adding "I work very hard, but I have been incredibly fortunate, and I try capitalize on every opportunity."

Marsicano is also gaining experiences that few people will ever have, including attending “Internet Week New York,” in it's entirety, which features some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs.
“I was fortunate enough to be given week-long access to IWNY, where I was able to meet people like Joan Rivers, Fred Armisen, Randi Zuckerberg and Pete Cashmore, Founder and CEO of Mashable,” says Marsicano. “Cashmore even let me test out his Google Glass, which was incredible, considering only a couple thousand people, outside of Google, have been fortunate enough to try them out.”
