Nyack Restauranteur to Open Eateries in Harrison, Mount Kisco
273 Kitchen will be a small bistro; 251 Lex will have a patio to host a spit roast.

Two new restaurants in Westchester are the brainchild of Constantine Kalandranis, the chef and owner of 8 North Broadway, the storefront restaurant in Nyack.
The first to open, in April, is near the Harrison train station. Called 273 Kitchen, it is planned as a wine bistro. Mediterranean-themed, it will include a raw bar and a small plates menu that its creator feels will suit the intimate space.
The second, in Mount Kisco, has a scheduled June opening. Much bigger, 251 Lex will have outdoor seating, a patio to host a spit roast, a full bar and a menu that features the same locally driven Mediterranean cuisine as 8 North Broadway.

“We want our patrons to feel like they are walking into the dining room of someone’s home, an unpretentious, comfortable place to enjoy great wine and high quality, fresh seafood and seasonal preparations,” said Kalandranis. “The open kitchen element will create a sense of intimacy and play, and heighten the excitement patrons feel about the entire dining experience.”
