CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Just because road crews will be working overnight doesn't mean they expect you to be a night owl — the crews promise to keep it down as much as possible for the next few weeks.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) informed the Village of Croton-on-Hudson that the painting of the Warren Road Bridge over Route 9 is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 10, and is expected to take six to eight weeks to complete.

Officials say that several weeks of this work will require nighttime hours, which are expected to start around June 17. During nighttime hours, there may be elevated sound levels in the area. The contractor will position equipment to minimize noise for nearby residents and will schedule work to reduce the number of night shifts.
