CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Con Edison has advised village officials that their contractor will finally start two gas main installation projects — one on Grand Street, the other on Benedict Boulevard — to upgrade the gas distribution system and replace old piping.
The work will be done in the daytime, and work hours will be slightly staggered: from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Benedict and from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Grand.
For either, expect delays, occasional road closures and some detours, and consider alternate routes.
