Complete Croton-Harmon 2025 School Board, Budget Election Results

The voters decided on the $60,996,050 Croton-Harmon schools budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2025 budget and school board.

Here are the unofficial results.

The proposed Croton-Harmon School District spending plan of $60,996,050 passed, with 1,470 voting yes 1,470 and 349 voting no.

The new budget is 3.74 percent higher than the current budget.

The tax levy is expected to be increased by 2.62 percent.

"This year we presented the community with a proposed budget that continues to fulfill our long-term vision for What Schools Can Be," Superintendent Stephen Walker said. "We are committed to making our schools places where learning is fueled by students' interests and passions and where educators are empowered to innovate and collaborate."

A proposition for the purchase of five vehicles also passed.

A proposition for the Croton Free Library for $985,392 also passed.

Two school board seats were up for election. Theo Oshiro and Allison Samuels were elected to those seats.
