First-Ever 'Hungry On The Hudson' Restaurant Week Launches

Find out how you can feast on 10 days of "dining, culture, and community" in Ossining and Briarcliff Manor, starting Friday.

OSSINING, NY — That sound you are hearing in the Hudson Valley isn't a test of the Indian Point sirens — this time, it's the dinner bell ringing.

The Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce announced the launch of its inaugural "Hungry on Hudson" Restaurant Week, from Friday, June 20 to Sunday, June 29. Organizers describe the event as "an exciting celebration of local flavor, community pride, and small business support" with over two dozen participating restaurants and cultural partners.

During the "10-day showcase of the Ossining and Briarcliff Manor culinary scene," participating restaurants will have special menus, exclusive deals, and community events.

"We are thrilled to be bringing this event to the banks of the Hudson River in beautiful — and hungry — Ossining and Briarcliff Manor," Greater Ossining Chamber of Commerce Vice President Greg Young said. "The official Hungry on Hudson landing page is up and visitors should browse participating restaurants! You can search based on cuisines, family-friendliness, outdoor seating, drink specials, and more. The site will also list special events and more fun for the family."

It will all kick off at noon, on June 20, at Richie's Kitchen, located at 147 Main St., in Ossining. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres from Richie's as well as sweet treats from El Imperio Del Pan.
