The voters decided on the $178,662,726 Ossining schools budget and which candidates will serve on the board of education.

OSSINING, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2025 budget and school board.

Here are the unofficial results.

The proposed Ossining schools spending plan of $178,662,726 passed, with 846 voting yes and 223 voting no.

The new budget is $1.6 million lower than the current budget.

The tax levy is expected to be increased by 1.67 percent.

Two school board seats were up for election. Melissa Banta (853 votes) and Christine Mangiamele (862 votes) were elected to those seats.

The Ossining Public Library budget of $5,071,027 also passed, with 860 voting yes and 210 voting no.

Three library board seats were up for election. Amanda Curley, Amanda Marsh, and Althena Goodson were elected to those seats.
