Ossining To Turn Spring Street Into Bicycle Way - For A While

OSSINING, NY — Spring Street will be closed to motor vehicles between Broad and Lafayette avenues for a couple of hours on Thursday.

It will be open to bicycles, scooters, skateboards and skates.

"We're about halfway through summer break so lets get outside and have a little fun," Ossining police said on Facebook.

The event will also include music from DJ Johnny D and hot dogs courtesy of the Ossining Elks.

The OPD offered some ideas to people who won't be able to drive or park there during the shutdown.
