Overnight Route 9A Milling And Paving Work This Week
Detours will be in place, but roadwork will not take place on Fridays or Saturdays, according to the NYSDOT.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A major paving project is taking place overnights to avoid heavy traffic periods.
The New York State Dept. of Transportation has begun milling and paving Route 9A, known as Albany Post Road and Riverside Avenue in the Village of Croton-on-Hudsn this week. Work is expected to begin on South Riverside Avenue at Oneida Avenue and travel northward to the Village line, around Baltic Place.
Crews will operate from Sunday to Thursday evenings, overnights between 8 p.m. and 6 p.m. Work will not occur on Fridays or Saturdays, according to the NYSDOT

Officials the work will take place overnights because of normally heavy commuter traffic on the roadway.
During the work period, the roadway will be closed in certain sections. Detours will be posted and flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic.
