Roadwork Closes Croton-on-Hudson Streets
Milling and resurfacing is going on this week on parts of Benedict Boulevard and Grand Street.

CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — Milling operations have begun in two sections of the village. In both cases, the roads are closed, no parking will be permitted, and temporary detours are in place.
Work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m and 5 p.m., weather permitting.
- The milling and resurfacing of Benedict Boulevard; the section of Young Avenue between Benedict Boulevard and Devon Avenue; a section of Penfield Avenue between Benedict Boulevard and Oneida Avenue; and South Riverside Avenue from Clinton Street to approximately 300 feet north of Oneida Avenue begins Monday, July 17, 2023.
- The milling and resurfacing of sections of Grand Street from Mount Airy Road to Route 129, Church Street, Route 129 from Grand Street to Wood Road, and Wood Road is scheduled to begin Tuesday, July 18, 2023.
These projects will include milling (grinding) of the roadways, followed by the asphalt installation. It is expected that work will be completed within 2–3 weeks. All dates are contingent on weather.

"No Parking" signs will be posted within the construction area. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access at all times.
