Work To Close Route 9A South Of Croton On Monday

A posted detour will include State Route 133.

OSSINING, NY — State Route 9A is expected to be closed Monday from where Route 9 forks south of the Croton-Ossining bridge to Stormytown Road in the town of Ossining.

Road repairs will be done between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., weather permitting, New York State Department of Transportation officials said on Friday.

Motorists should follow the posted detour utilizing State Route 133 as an alternate.

Slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
