Work Tuesday, Wednesday To Fix Water Leak Under Grand Street
Drivers in Croton-on-Hudson are encouraged to use alternate routes.
CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A water main leak has been detected on Grand Street, village officials said at about noon Tuesday.
The Department of Public Works is working to replace the line, which will involve removing a section of concrete from the roadway.
The section of Grand Street from the Dummy Light to Mount Airy Road will be temporarily closed Tuesday afternoon to facilitate the concrete removal.

Then, that same section will be closed to traffic all day Wednesday for the installation of the new line.
The Department of Public Works will set up a work zone with appropriate traffic control measures. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
