Japanese Restaurant Danny's Izakaya Opens In Oyster Bay

OYSTER BAY, NY — A new Japanese restaurant and bar is now open in Oyster Bay.

Making its debut last month, Danny's Izakaya was a concept born in Japan and draws on the culinary and social experiences of owner David Antin, according to its website. Antin, who was once the CEO of a New York-based financial information company, fell in love with the Japanese culture and the izakaya after-work lifestyle while traveling the country.

"The Japanese traditional Izakaya is an eatery that locals gather at after their workday over food, drink, and camaraderie," the website stated. "It's the place to unwind, relax and enjoy the company of friends."
