• Ex-Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano's resentencing adjourned indefinitely, records show (newsday.com) — A high-profile corruption case tied to the Town of Oyster Bay has hit another delay, as former Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano’s resentencing has been adjourned indefinitely. Mangano remains in federal prison after convictions related to pressuring Oyster Bay to indirectly support loans for a restaurateur who ran concessions at town beaches, while some bribery counts were previously overturned on appeal.
