Westbury Man Accused Of DWI With Son, Nephew In Car
Both of the children are 5 years old, police say.

A Westbury man is accused of DWI with his son and nephew, both 5 years old, in the car on Friday night.
According to authorities, Rudit Santos, 50, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on Old Country Road in Old Westbury when he was pulled over for failing to signal a left turn at 11:42 p.m. Officers determined Rudit was intoxicated while his son and nephew were in the back seat, police say.
The children were released to a relative.

Rudit was arrested and charged with two counts aggravated DWI (child under 16) under Leandra's Law, DWI, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of operating a vehicle without restraints and failure to signal.
He will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
