Anthony Weiner Now Working as PR Consultant in New Jersey

"His public policy expertise will be a great asset to our firm."

Anthony Weiner, sender of history’s most notorious dick pic and loser of a 2013 mayoral campaign, just landed a job as part-time consultant and advisory board member for the New Jersey public relations firm MMWPR.

Wiener served as a representative for Brooklyn and Queens in U.S. Congress before his elaborate, extra-marital sext history was exposed by reporters, forcing him to resign in 2011.

A couple years later, he shot for a comeback as New York mayor, but lost the Democratic primary with less than 5 percent of the vote.

Despite all this, MMWPR announces on Thursday that it is “pleased” to welcome Weiner on board.

The company’s reasoning, via press statement:

Anthony brings to MWWPR a deep background and understanding in the workings of Congress and the City of New York. As a former member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Anthony was a leader on many issues ranging from the future of healthcare to national technology policy. His public policy expertise will be a great asset to our firm.

Anthony Weiner is an expert on public policy and will not be expected to service clients directly. As a member of our Board of Advisors, he will be a part time consultant to the agency, primarily focused on policy matters and new business development.

Perhaps it takes a PR disaster to know one?

The Associated Press, on the other hand, is implying this may be a who-you-know hire.

The firm’s founder, Michael Kempner, was a national finance co-chairman for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Weiner’s wife, Huma Abedin, is a longtime Clinton aide.

And since it’s Throwback Thursday, let’s revisit this tantrum Weiner threw at a Brooklyn bakery while on the campaign trail.

MMWPR’s clients reportedly include Netflix, Southern Comfort and Samsung.
