Man Shot At Brooklyn Public Housing Complex, Police Say
A man was shot inside the Albany Houses near Troy Avenue in Crown Heights Tuesday morning, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — A man was shot early Tuesday morning at a Brooklyn public housing complex, police said.
The shooting happened outside the New York City Housing Authority’s Albany Houses, a nine-building development along Troy Avenue and Bergen Street, an NYPD spokesman said.
Officers responding just after 4 a.m. found the man with a gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.

He was rushed by EMS to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
Police did not immediately release the victim’s name or age.

No arrests had been made as of Tuesday morning, and the investigation remains ongoing.
