The Fourth Avenue gym has taken over the Brooklyn Lyceum on Fourth Avenue.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A new gym is now open in the historic Brooklyn Lyceum on the corner of Fourth Avenue and President Street in Park Slope.
Blink Fitness on Tuesday officially opened its Park Slope gym with a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, August 1. Blink leased the building back in July of 2015.
The Lyceum was originally NYC Public Bath No. 7 and had fallen into a sort of state of disrepair.

"Blink worked diligently to retain as much of the historic character as possible, resulting in a spectacular gym space," a Blink press release says. "Preservation of the 100-year- old building includes original exposed brick, large arched windows, and industrial steel trusses that support the twenty-two foot high ceilings."
Blink donated 50 one-year memberships to Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow, a nonprofit that works with disadvantaged youth and adults in the area.
