Brooklyn Woman Caught in Coach Store With 7 Fake Credit Cards: Police

Na Chen, 24, tried to use one of her fake cards at the Coach store in Long Island's Roosevelt Field mall, cops say.

A 24-year-old Brooklyn woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after she was caught with seven fraudulent credit cards at the Roosevelt Field mall, police said.

According to police, Third Precinct patrol officers were alerted that 24-year-old Na Chen, of 8th Avenue in Sunset Park, was using a fraudulent credit card at the Coach store inside the mall located at 630 Old Country Road shortly after 4 p.m.

Officers approached Chen outside the store and conducted an investigation, police said.

Chen was then placed into custody and found to be in possession of seven fraudulent credit cards and fraudulently purchased merchandise, police said.

Chen is charged with seven counts of possession of a forged instrument. She was due to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday.
