Dizzy's On 5th Closing On Sunday

The Park Slope diner is abruptly shuttering its doors.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Dizzy's on Fifth will close on Sunday, August 13, Patch has been told. We first heard the news on the Park Slope Parents Facebook page.

"Stop by and have a bite and say goodbye to a favorite spot for baby meetups, tech group meetups, career networking meetups, poker papa meetups and more," the group's Facebook post said.

A worker at the diner confirmed the news that the restaurant would be shuttering, but it wasn't immediately clear what is causing the sudden change. The location on Eighth Avenue and Ninth Street, though, will remain open.
