Dog Attack Leaves 19-Month-Old Dead In Brooklyn: Cops
Police found the toddler with bite wounds at an apartment in Flatbush, according to the NYPD.

BROOKLYN, NY — Police are investigating a vicious dog attack that left a 19-month-old dead in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD.
Emergency responders found the 19-month-old boy heavily bleeding from bite wounds to his neck and shoulder just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday in a home on East 17th Street, according to police. He was taken to Maimonides Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The dog was contained inside another room before police arrived at the home, and was taken to Animal Care and Control, police said.

According to reports, the toddler had been home alone with two older siblings, ages 9 and 11, when the family dog attacked him.
The investigation was ongoing Wednesday morning.
