The Bureau of Labor Statistics and the U.S. Department of Labor’s latest data show that there are well-paying jobs out there that don’t look for much in the way of higher education.

Engineering: Many jobs in engineering pay well and don’t require much post-high school education. Aerospace engineering and operations technicians, for example, make a median $61,530, while a mechanical supervisor can make a median $60,250 in a year.
Radiation therapists: Radiation therapists plan and administer radiation to cancer patients. The median pay is $77,560, and only a two-year associate’s degree is required. The Bureau predicts there will be 8,200 openings over the next seven years.

Registered nurse: Registered nurses supervise care of medical patients and help coordinate things like treatment and insurance. The median pay is $65,470 with an associate’s degree required. An estimated 1,052,600 job openings will be available through 2022.
