BROOKLYN, NY — Police are asking the public's help to find the person who robbed a Brooklyn jewelry shop at gunpoint in broad daylight earlier this week.

The gun-wielding thief went into the shop at the City Point building in Downtown Brooklyn around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to police. The building is found at 445 Ablee Square.

The suspect then fired at least one shot inside the store before taking $875 in cash and $100,000-worth of jewelry, police said.
