The nonprofit opened up their second location in the neighborhood at 424 Seventh Ave. over the weekend.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Housing Works, the nonprofit thrift shop, opened their second location in Park Slope on Seventh Avenue over the weekend, the group announced.
The thrift shop, which donates all their profits to fighting AIDS and homelessness, took over the 424 Seventh Ave. storefront on Saturday to sell used clothes, books, furniture, kitchen goods along with coffee and tea, according to Housing Works.

The new location comes a year after the group closed their Brooklyn Heights spot, which opened in 2007, because their landlord did not renew their lease, Brownstoner reported. The nonprofit told the website that they were planning on finding a new space to replace the store nearby.
