Nitehawk's Annual Shorts Festival Coming To Park Slope Location
The theater's annual shorts festival will host screenings at their new Park Slope location and their Williamsburg spot, the company said.

PARK SLOPE, NY — Nitehawk's annual short-film festival returns to the borough in November, this time hosting a screening and the award ceremony at their under-construction Prospect Park West location, the company announced.
The theater started accepting submissions on April 6 for films under 20-minutes long to compete in their sixth annual Shorts Festival that aims to "highlight and support a diverse range of voices in short films," Nitehawk said.
The festival will run from Nov. 7 to 12 with showings in their Williamsburg location and their "Secret Contenders" screenings at the Park Slope spot, which plans to open in the spring. The six-day event also has a night of horror shorts, one dedicated to "music driven" films and more.
