PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Bonnie's Grill has sidewalk and roadway seating.

As does its Fifth Avenue neighbor Naruto Ramen.

Park Slope Ale House a few blocks away doesn't have sidewalk seats, but its patrons can sip a beer while sitting in an officially-sanctioned roadway seating area.

That information — and more — about Park Slope restaurants can all be gleaned from a new city map showing restaurants open for outdoor dining.

"NYC Open Restaurants" shows 212 establishments in Park Slope's two zip codes have so far signed up for outdoor dining as the city moved to its second phase of reopening from the coronavirus crisis.

The map doesn't stop at Park Slope either.

More than 5,600 restaurants have signed up so far citywide, and the map shows their outdoor dining options — tables on sidewalks, parking lanes or both, as well as whether they serve alcohol.

The map shows a variety of different seating arrangements — 122 restaurants offer both sidewalk and roadway tables, 65 have sidewalk only seats and 25 plunked their seats in the road.

Most open restaurants — 163 — will serve alcohol, the map states.

Park Slope bars, restaurants and their staffs took an enormous hit as coronavirus lockdown orders closed their doors in March. The city's move into the second phase of reopening let them at least partially reopen.

Next week, some restaurants will get the chance to venture further into the streets.

Applications will open Monday for business improvement districts and merchant associations to set up seating on roadways that have been closed to traffic under the city's Open Streets program.

Fourth Street in Park Slope between Fourth and Fifth Avenue fits that bill.
