Photo of the Day: Park Slope's First Snow

On Wednesday, a mix of rain and snow came down on the neighborhood.

As the nor'easter hit New York City, the first snow of the year hit Park Slope on Wednesday.

Due to the storm, Mayor Bloomberg ordered all city parks to close, starting at 12 p.m. today through 12 p.m. Thursday.

Although the National Weather Service said the winter storm is expected to batter the region with winds between 25 and 35 mph, gusts up to 60 mph, the snow was beautiful.
