Police Blotter: Police Arrest Woman for Stabbing Taxi Driver

Bad Passenger

Police arrested a violent crook for stabbing a taxi driver in the arm and stealing his cell phone after refusing to pay cab fare on Flatbush Avenue on May 22.

The 42-year-old victim told police that he drove the woman to her destination, between Bergen and Dean streets, at around 5:50 p.m. But when he asked for her to pay the fare, the 21-year-old woman refused, stabbed him in his right arm with a metal object, stole his iPhone and ran. The driver was transported to Kings County Hospital and police arrested the woman. The driver's iPhone was returned. 

Bad Kids

Cops arrested three teenagers who stole a woman’s iPhone while she was leaving the Bergen Street subway station on May 22.

The 40-year-old victim told police that one kid, who was 15, snatched her iPhone out of her hands and ran while she was leaving the 2/3 subway station on Flatbush Avenue at around 3:20 p.m. The kid crook met two other friends, 15 years and 14 years old, at Fifth Avenue and St. Marks. Police arrested the trio at Bergen Street. The iPhone was returned to the victim.

A Sneezing Criminal

A crook stole a bag, credit cards and a bottle of allergy medicine from a man’s car while he was at a Fourth Avenue gas station on May 20.

The 42-year-old victim told police that he filled his tank with gas at the BP Gas Station near Union Street and left his car unlocked while he paid the cashier at around 6:15 a.m. When he returned five minutes later, he realized that someone snatched his Samsonite bag, wallet with a debit card and two credit cards inside, a bottle of Zyrtec and eye drops.
