Tough Ride
A crook stole a motorcycle that was parked on 15th Street on April 11.

The 28-year-old victim told police that she parked her gray Yamaha between Sixth and Seventh avenues at around 7:30 p.m. on April 11. She told police that she did not lock the motorcycle to the fence in front of the building she was visiting, but she did lock the wheel. When she went back a couple hours later at around 3 a.m., the $8,000 motorcycle was gone.

A woman was arrested for trying to walk out of a hardware store on Second Avenue with home improvement supplies on April 12.
An employee saw the 34-year-old suspect walk in to Lowe’s near 10th Street at around 5:57 p.m., grab a couple of paint cans and electrical wires, worth over $1,000, and then try to leave without paying. Police arrested the woman shortly after.
Bag in Bar Gone
A quick-handed crook swiped a man’s bag of electronics while he was at a music venue on Ninth Street on April 13.
The victim told police that he left his bag unattended while at Barbes, between Sixth and Seventh avenues, for an hour between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. When he went back to get his bag, with two laptops and an iPad, it was gone.
