Psychedelic Shrooms Seized In Park Slope Smoke Shop Bust: NYPD

Cops raided Noise smoke shop Tuesday and arrested a 23-year-old man on possession of psilocybin mushroom charges, authorities said.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — The seizure of magic mushrooms and a man's non-magical arrest capped a Tuesday bust at a Park Slope smoke shop, police said.

Psilocybin mushrooms were found by NYPD officers who raided Noise smoke shop at 435 Fifth Ave., near Ninth Street, as part of a search warrant, officials said.

They also arrested Travis Trelles, 23, after the search, authorities said. He faces a felony drug possession with intent charge, as well as a misdemeanor possession count, court records show.

An employee at Noise told a Patch reporter Wednesday that he didn't know anything about a bust.

Police said the raid was part of an active investigation, but didn't provide more specifics such as how much psychedelic shrooms were seized.
