Resourceful Brooklyn Burglar Shoves Cash in Her Bra

Police say she took $120.

We’ve all done it — just perhaps not for such devious purposes.

Police are accusing a young Brooklyn woman of stealing $120 from a man’s home in the Gravesend neighborhood, then stashing the loot in her bra as she fled.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at approximately 1345 hours, the 40 year-old male victim found the suspect inside his home on 28 Avenue after coming in from outside. After the suspect fled the location, the victim noticed that $120 was removed from the home.

The suspect is described as follows: Female, white, approximately 25 years-old, approximately 5’8”, approximately 120lbs, long dark hair.

Anyone with information about the alleged bra smuggler is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online, at the Crime Stoppers website, or by texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
