PARK SLOPE, NY — A group of teens beat and robbed two men sitting inside Prospect Park on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The 18 and 17-year-old victims were sitting on a bench at the Prospect Park Bandshell, near Ninth Street and Prospect Park West, when four men approached them at about 6:50 p.m., a spokeswoman for the NYPD said. They separated the victims from each other and demanded they hand over their cash.

When the victims refused to give the money, the thieves punched them then swiped headphones and an iPhone 6 from the teens, police said. The robbers then fled the park in an unknown direction.
