Unborn Baby Dies Months After Park Slope Crash: Reports

The crash in a Park Slope crosswalk killed two children and left the baby's mother injured.

PARK SLOPE, NY – The Broadway actress injured in a Park Slope car accident which killed her daughter has lost her unborn baby, according to several reports.

Ruthie Ann Miles was expecting the baby girl with her husband, Jonathan Blumenstein, this month.

"At the time of the crash Ruthie was pregnant and was severely injured," the family's lawyer, Ben Rubinowitz, told the Daily News.

"This past Friday, Ruthie and Jonathan lost their baby, Sophia Rosemary Wong Blumenstein."

Miles had been crossing Ninth St. at Fifth Ave. with her daughter, her friend Lauren Lew and Lew's son when Dorothy Bruns' car traveled through a red light and hit them on March 5. Miles' daughter Abigail, 4, and Lew's son Joshua, 1, were killed.

Bruns, 44, was charged with manslaughter. She suffered from multiple sclerosis and investigators said she had a seizure.
