UPDATE: Strike Canceled at JFK, La Guardia
Aviation Safeguards has agreed to sit down with employees.

The strike that some Delta, United and British Airways workers were planning at JFK and La Guardia for Wednesday night has been called off.
More than 1,200 workers contracted out to those airlines by Aviation Safeguards were planning a 24-hour strike beginning Wednesday at 10 p.m.
But this afternoon, a spokesman for their union, 32BJ SEIU, tells Patch that Aviation Safeguards ”signed an agreement with us” to avoid the strike.
