WANTED: Umbrella Attacker Lurking in Brooklyn Subway
The suspect attacked a middle-aged woman at the Jay Street-MetroTech station in Brooklyn, police say.
The NYPD is looking for a woman who allegedly attacked a middle-aged subway rider in the “mezzanine” area of the cavernous Jay Street-MetroTech station in Brooklyn.
Her alleged weapon of choice? An umbrella.

On Tuesday, July 14, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the suspect approached the 48-year-old female victim in the mezzanine of the Jay Street A, C, F and R train subway station and struck her in the neck with an umbrella causing pain. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital.
The suspect, who was caught on a surveillance camera (see above photos), is described as approximately five-feet-six-inches tall and 140 pounds.

“She was last seen wearing black sneakers,” police say.
