
There will be some serious subway construction this weekend. Make sure you get the scoop on the planned service changes before you leave the house on Saturday morning:
- The F and G train will skip Smith-9th St. all times until fall 2012.
- No 2 trains between Franklin Ave. and Flatbush Ave., take the free shuttle bus instead. The 3 train runs to New Lots Ave.
- No 4 trains between Manhattan and Brooklyn.
- Manhattan-bound D trains run express from 36th St. to Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. and skip DeKalb Ave. For service to 25th St., Prospect Ave., 4th Ave-9th St. and Union St., take the D to Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. and transfer to a Coney Island-bound D or N.
- Manhattan-bound F trains run via the A from Jay St.-MetroTech to West 4th St.
- No G trains between Bedford-Nostrand Aves. and Court Sq.
- Manhattan-bound N trains run express from 36th St. to Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. N trains run over the Manhattan Bridge from Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. to Canal St.
- Manhattan-bound Q trains run via the R from DeKalb Ave. to Canal St.
- Manhattan-bound R trains run over the Manhattan Bridge from Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. to Canal St. There will be no Manhattan-bound R service at DeKalb Ave., Jay St.-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt Sts. and City Hall, take the Q instead, which will be making these stops.
- Manhattan-bound R trains run express from 36th St. to Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. For service to 25th St., Prospect Ave., 4th Ave.-9th St. and Union St., take the R to Atlantic Ave.-Pacific St. and transfer to a Bay Ridge-bound R.
