1 Seriously Hurt In House Fire On Long Island: Police

They were taken to a local hospital for treatment, Suffolk police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY — One person was seriously hurt in a house fire in Patchogue early Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.

The fire broke out on Northridge Street at around 4:40 a.m., according to police.

A woman who was rescued from the house was taken to the Stony Brook University Hospital with severe burns on her face, a Patchogue fire official told News 12.
