2 Men Critically Injured In Crash With Pickup On Long Island: Police
They were taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue, Suffolk police say.
YAPHANK, NY — Two men were critically injured in a crash in Yaphank Tuesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A 2020 Audi Q5 was traveling eastbound on Longwood Road when it struck a 2019 Ram
pickup truck traveling southbound on the William Floyd Parkway at around 1:30 p.m., police said, adding that the driver and a passenger were taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue.
Their identities are being withheld pending notification of their families, according to police.

The driver of the pickup, a 59-year-old from Medford, was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, according to police.
