Dogs and Brews: Blue Point Brewing Hosting Adoption Event

Do you want to pet cute dogs while you enjoy a cold beer?

Well, you'll also have the chance to take on home at the Blue Point Brewing Company's dog adoption event.

In partnership with Gimme Shelter Animal Rescue and the Asher House, the brewery is hosting the event Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Asher House, which was started by Lee Asher, travels from state to state encouraging and promoting animal rescue by working with animal shelters and humane societies across the nation. Together, the host events where sheltered dogs are showcased in a positive light to give them a chance and opportunity to find a home.
