Driver Finds Body on Side of Patchogue Road

PATCHOGUE, NY – Homicide Squad detectives are investigating after a man was found dead on the side of a Patchogue road Saturday night.

According to Suffolk Police, a passing motorist observed a body with extensive head injuries on the side of Rider Avenue, near Edwards Street, at about 10:20 p.m.

The man, who has been identified as 39-year-old Clarence Wyche, was pronounced dead at the scene, just down the road from Patchogue Village Hall.
