Driver Runs From 1-Vehicle Crash In East Patchogue: Police
The vehicle was unoccupied when officers arrived at the scene, Suffolk police say.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — A driver bolted from the scene of a one-car crash in East Patchogue Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.
The vehicle struck a sign at Case Avenue and East Main Street just before 8 a.m., and the driver ran away, according to police.
The car was unoccupied when officers arrived at the scene, police said.

Police remain at the scene investigating, a spokesperson said.
It was not immediately clear if anyone else was in the vehicle or if anyone was injured.
