Isabella Rossellini To Host Screening Of 'Problemista' On Long Island

PATCHOGUE, NY — Isabella Rossellini will host a screening of the movie she narrates, "Problemista," at the Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center on March 29.

After the special screening, the model, actress, activist, and entrepeneur, who has a home in Bellport, will take part in a question and answer session.

The screening starts at 7:30 p.m.

In the film, Alejandro, who is played by Julio Torres, is an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador who is struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in the Big Apple, according to promotional material. As time on his work visa runs out, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast, who is played by Tilda Swinton, becomes his only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream, the material states.

Torres, who wrote and directed the film, brings to life a "surreal adventure through the equally treacherous worlds of New York City and the U.S. Immigration system," according to the promotional.

The film will be played twice daily starting March 22.
