Man Arrested After Slashing on Main Street in Patchogue: Cops

A 23-year-old man faces a felony assault charge after the incident early Sunday, police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY – A 23-year-old man was arrested after he slashed another man on Main Street in Patchogue early Sunday, Suffolk Police said.

Nicolas Lago, of Islip, is charged with second degree assault, a felony.

Lago slashed a 23-year-old man around 1 a.m. Sunday, police said.

The victim, of Syosset, was taken to Long Island Community Hospital.

Lago was arraigned on Sunday in First District Court in Central Islip and released on $10,000 bond. He is due back in court on July 19.
