Man Dies After Being Pulled Unresponsive From LI Pool: Police
The Queens Village man died Saturday, police say.
MEDFORD, NY — Police have identified a man who died Saturday after being pulled unresponsive from a Medford pool as Sleigan Laroc, 25, of Queens Village.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident took place at a residence on Bloomington Street at about 9:35 p.m.
Laroc was pulled from a backyard swimming pool during a small party; the homeowner, who pulled him from the water, began performing CPR until Sixth Precinct patrol officers arrived and took over, police said.

Laroc was transported via ambulance to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in Patchogue, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
